It’s summer and that’s a great feeling. I am busy preparing for next year, by pinning ideas on Pinterest, saving ideas on Edmodo, and googling new ideas. I’m also busy with meetings and planning in anticipation of a new year.
It has been a difficult summer in a tragic way. A week ago, three students from Phenix City schools were killed in a car accident. Two of them just finished freshman year: Darius Washington and Chelsea Tolbert. Dealing with death is never easy, but especially when a young person is taken from us, young people with so much potential. I pray for their families and friends who are dealing with this loss.
