Today was definitely time for celebration. We recognize a great leader in Martin Luther King, Jr. This week’s journal entry will be about one of my favorite quotes of his:
“The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character – that is the goal of true education.” Martin Luther King, Jr. In your own words define character. Explain what you think MLK Jr. means by his words. Do you agree or disagree with his view of the goal of education? Explain your answer.
